| Résumé : | The stele from Todi (Umbria) is a well-known piece that has been deeply studied since its discovery in 1839. It has awaken such an interest because it is “twice bilingual”, written in Latin and Gaulish in both faces, and also because of the fact that it was found in Umbria, where Gaulish was not usual. This paper offers an up-to-date study of this inscription, picks up an ancient restitution of the beginning of the text and suggests an interpretation for its opistographic nature. |
