Résumé : In this paper non magnetizable isotropic eĺastic solids of infinite electrical conductivity are considered. The field and constitutive equations are linearized about an undeformed equilibrium configuration characterized by a static magnetic field, and the propagation of time-harmonic inhomogeneous plane waves is studied. In particular, special inhomogeneous waves without purely mechanical counterpart are obtained. © 1989 ELSEVIER B.V.
