Résumé :

Special fibres with different concentrations of erbium and aluminium have been fabricated and gamma irradiated, Effect of the erbium content, temperature and dose rate are studied. Recommendations for the radiation testing of erbiumdoped fibres is provided. In certain conditions, the normalised radiation-induced absorption can reach values as high as 0.5 dB/(m krad) at 980 nm.
