Résumé : The conformational analysis of halogenocycloheptanes was approached by infra‐red measurements in the ν (C‐Hal) region. For each derivative, the ν (C‐Hal) bands are attributed by solvent effect. It seems possible to describe halogenocycloheptanes as a mixture of three conformers in thermodynamic equilibrium.
