Résumé : The article outlines and analyses the typewritten and handwritten materials concerning the "Lettere a Capitano Nemo", the juvenile novel Antonio Tabucchi wrote in the Seventies, without publishing it. The paper retraces the complex drafting history of this work, and analyses the variants of the different drafts, which are held, bound and unbound,at the «Antonio Tabucchi» found of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Furthermore, the paper examines some handwritten chapters found in a writer’s agenda, the chapters issued in reviews over the years, and also the short novel "Capodanno", a reduced version of the novel published in the collection "L’angelo nero" (1991). Lastly, the appendix makes available the asyetunpublished text "Duecentomila ore dentro il Nautilus", which represents the afterword Tabucchi wrote for his novel.
