Résumé : The authors report the first case of septic unsealment of a Moore prosthesis due to an infection by Yersinia enterocolitica. A 83-year-old female patient underwent, 15 years before, radiotherapeutics for a cervix uteri neoplasm, inducing subsequently a bilateral necrosis of the femur heads necessitating the placing of Moore prosthesis. Successful treatment required the ablation of the right prosthesis, the insertion in situ of gentamicin beads in addition to administration of cefuroxime. © 1989.
