Résumé : Attempts to explain the geographical distribution of development aid in Nicaragua since the taking of power by the Sandanistas in 1979, and considers aspects of social formation, spatial strategy, and structural funding. Maps provide background information on agriculture, physical form, population density, and class structure, before the scale and dispersal of investment projects are discussed and compared with voting patterns and attacks by counter-revolutionary Contra forces. -P.Hardiman
