Résumé : A benign and perforated ulcer of the rectum, appearing a few weeks after a toxic pyrazol-induced agranulocytosis, is an original disease. The confrontation of clinical and histological data yields the conclusion that we are dealing with an acute attack of ulcerous rectocolitis, limited to the rectum. The hypothesis of an identical etiology for agranulocytosis and rectocolitis is discussed. The relationship with the intake of the pyrazol-component is suggested. The therapeutic attitude is defined and explained on the basis of the observed complications and, on the other hand, taking in account the danger of a later relapse or a malignant degeneration.
