Résumé : The rat pancreas is able to hydrolyze cAMP at physiologic concentrations. The enzyme responsible does not appear to be subject to regulation when the secretion of the hydrolases is stimulated. The particularly weak hydrolysis of cGMP suggests that this nucleotide plays a role in the 'stimulus secretion' coupling of the pancreas.
