Résumé : The fibrinogen uptake test has proved its efficiency; unfortunately the method is complicated and takes a minimum of 24 to 48 hours. If this delay is acceptable when depicting deep vein thrombosis, it becomes a problem when there is urgency. A test giving a rapid solution and which would allow to follow the evolution in image-form would be very welcome. Our hopes with marked fibrinogen (with Tc 99m) do not seem justified after this preliminary study.
