| Résumé : | The effect of annealing and ageing on i.r. absorption spectra of polycarbonate are investigated. Annealing is accompanied by conformational rearrangements, visible through changes in trans-trans and trans-cis populations, whereas ageing entails only extremely local rearrangements The connection between these observations and the concept of structural temperature is discussed. © 1997 Elsevier Science Ltd. |
