Résumé : p-(N′-methyl-hydrazinomethyl)-N-isopropyl-benzamide-hydrochloride has been administered to thirty-three patients suffering from Hodgkin's disease and seventeen patients suffering from other malignant lymphomas and leukaemias. The preparation exerted a definite objective effect on twenty-three cases of Hodgkin's disease, one case of lymphosarcoma, one case of reticulum-cell sarcoma, and two cases of chronic myeloid leukaemia. Patients who did not respond to radiotherapy, alkylating agents or Prednisolone could be influenced by the methyl-hydrazine derivative. A marked reduction in leukocytes was observed in six cases, and severe thrombocytopenia in twelve cases. Three patients died of infection accompanied with leukopenia. Other toxic signs were digestive disturbances (vomiting, anorexia, diarrhoea), alopecia, amenorrhoea, alcohol intolerance, and erythrodermia. © 1965.
