Résumé :

With the use of the comparison-equation method, asymptotically exact analytical expressions are derived for the molecular-energy splittings of highly excited states of the one-electron two-Coulomb-center system (Z1eZ2). Both the symmetrical (Z1=Z2) and non-symmetrical (Z1Z2) cases are studied. The physical implications of our results are discussed, and their relationship with the expressions corresponding to low-lying states is analyzed. © 1982 The American Physical Society.
