Résumé : Quantitative radioautography has been used to measure the incorporation of 3H-thymidine into nuclear and kinetoplastic DNA of Crithidia luciliae. Our results, obtained on randomly dividing cells as well as on cultures synchronized with hydroxyurea, show that the nuclear and kinetoplastic DNAs are labelled simultaneously during a part of the interphase. Thymidine incorporation is inhibited by hydroxyurea, although the initiation of new S phases still occurs in the presence of the drug. © 1971.
