Résumé : The authors compared two groups of patients having a carcinoma localized between 10 and 15 cm from the anal verge. They were treated by curative operations of their growths: abdomino perineal resection or anterior resection with colo rectal anastomosis. The 3 yr and 5 yr survivors seemed to be better after abdomino perineal amputation. The survival curve demonstrated the superiority of this operation.
