Résumé : The behavior of the products generated by the electroreduction of U(VI) in alkaline medium has been investigated by studying the effects of various factors (composition, potential, elapsed time) on the morphology of the chronocoulometric reoxidation curves. The results indicate, among others, that the electrogenerated U(V) anion undergoes precipitation, and that the rate of oxidation of the colloidal particles is essentially controlled by the kinetics of heterocoalescence with the mercury electrode. © 1973.
