| Résumé : | The representations of the Carolingian Renovatio in the modern era have been characterised by an enormous plasticity, to such an extent that they are useful not only to the Imperial idea, but also to nationalist ideals and ecclesiastical prérogatives. It is precisely due to their position in the convergence of myth, history and politics that they were able to create a crux that made it possible at the same time to devise the reform of a society under the sign of salvation and develop a framework definition conducive to perpetuating a monarchist ideology, reinforced by the concept of a holy royalty. |
| Las representaciones de la renovatio carolingia en época moderna han tenido enorme plasticidad, hasta el punto de ser utiles tanto a la idea imperial, como a los idéales nacionalistas o a las prerrogativas eclesiasticas. Precisamente porque se situan en la confluencia del mito, d ela historia y de la politica, crearon un eje que permitia al mismo tiempo pensar la reforma de una sociedad situada bajo el signo de la salvacion y elaborar un marco de definicion propicia a la perpetuacion de una ideologia monarquica, reforzada por el concepto de una realeza sacra. |
