Résumé : Catheter-related thrombosis in case of parenteral nutrition is frequent but most often asymptomatic. Prevention of venous thrombosis includes the correct positioning of the tip of the catheter as well as prevention of catheter infection. Therapeutic strategies are adapted regarding the need of maintaining the catheter and are mostly based on experts' recommendations. © 2012.
