Résumé :

Decrease of the effective coil dimensions 〈r2〉 with increasing polymer volume fraction φ2 has been measured by gel permeation chromatography for polystyrene standards (2 < M × 10-3 < 2500) in toluene. Good correlation is found with the limiting equation 〈r2(φ2)〉/〈r2(0)〉 ∼ 1 - 0.043N0.72φ2 (N >> 1, φ2 << 1) based on computer simulation recently performed by De Vos and Bellemans. © 1978 American Chemical Society.
