Résumé : The author presents a perturbative approach to the equations describing the behaviour of a quantum scalar field in a self-consistently generated Robertson-Walker universe. This approach throws new light on the significance of the threshold mass which governs both the instability of Minkowski space and the existence of self-consistent cosmologies. Using this perturbative analysis to the third order, and using the same subtraction procedure which gives the Minkowskian instability and the threshold mass, the author shows that a de Sitter cosmology is the unique future of the Minkowski space.
