Résumé :

GRAFTEK is an integrated CAD/CAM system with about 200 graphic computer terminals connected to about 70 Gould computers. A description is given of the characteristics of the hardware employed, the domains covered by the software, its applications, and its performance. Two new developments in connection with GRAFTEK are considered - namely, local intelligence of new conversational stations and the volume B-spline for describing volumes on the basis of elementary solids.
