Résumé : The level originating in the spherical sub-shell seems to play a prominent part for light nuclei. The influence of a P4(cosθ) deformation added to the usual spheroidal potential is calculated for the 1p and 1d-2s shells. It is shown that this deformation acts selectively on the level. Experimental data concerning 19F appear to support the assumption of permanent P4 deformations.
