Résumé : Bone collagen metabolism is generally estimated by the urinary excretion of hydroxyproline. Hydroxylysyl glycosides measured in urine could be a better tool to understand bone modifications during actual and simulated flight. This paper reports on a study that measured hydroxylysyl glycosides in urine with an amino-acid analyzer. Study results are discussed, and the paper concludes that the main source of hydroxylysyl glycosides in urine must be collagen.
