Résumé : We have studied the influence of the correlation between stature and psychometric variables on the correlation of head size and psychometry in a sample of 2,071 Belgian men selected at random from the population of those liable to military service. Eleven measurements of the head were taken and six psychological tests were given. The relationship between psychometry and anthropometry remains low but significant when the relationship between stature and head size is taken into account. These partial correlation coefficients are significant for head length and cranial perimeter, and to a lesser extent for head breadth and bizygomatic breadth.
