| Résumé : | A method is proposed to estimate the bacterial biomass fixed on solid supports colonized in water without detachment of the cells from the supports. The method consists of measuring an enzymatic activity of the fixed bacteria: the potential exoproteolytic activity, which has been shown to be proportional to the bacterial biomass. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Cet article présente une méthode d'estimation de la biomasse bactérienne fixée sur des supports solides imergés dans l'eau. Par cette méthode, il n'est pas nécessaire de décrocher les bactéries du support. La technique consiste à mesurer une activité enzymatique chez les bactéries fixées : l'activité exoprotéolytique potentielle, qui est proportionnelle à la biomasse bactérienne. |
