Résumé : The model of metaphor logic constitutes a more satisfactory delineation of the workings of descriptive theological («theographic») statements than the more classical attempts (literalness, revelation, analogy, ...). Misreadings of theographic propositions, which may lead to distortion of the original communicative intent may be traced back to misapplication of dualistic, interactive metaphor logic. A taxonomy of interpretation errors (literalist, mimetic, ...) is proposed.
