Résumé : Phase equilibrium of polydisperse fluids was studied using three-phase fractionation process. Van der Waals free energy of the fluids for thermodynamic states was examined. Ordinary two-phase coexistences were found to become metastable on fractionation reducing the polydispersity of the phases. The thermodynamic properties of colloids were studied using phase diagrams.
