Résumé : Passive coherent location (PCL) radars employ noncooperativetransmitters for target detection. The major issuesfor the PCL radars are the noise presence in the referencesignal and the static clutter contribution in the surveillancesignal. This paper examines the static clutter suppressionmethods for the DVB-T based PCL radars. Precisely,it evaluates the impact of the reference signal noiseon the existing static clutter suppression methods and it proposesan improved method. Real-data results are employedto demonstrate the proposed method and its efficiency.
