Résumé : This paper discusses the impact of the TTIP on the regulation of public services such as infrastructure services. It summarizes the main lessons for Europe from similar experiences in developing countries aiming at increasing the opportunities to benefit from an easier access to large specialized companies in these regulated services. It shows that the effects on efficiency, equity, fiscal viability and accountability are at best uncertain in some key dimensions. It also shows that new conflict resolution options are likely to reduce host countries' sovereignty on regulation.
