| Résumé : | 6‐7‐9‐10‐tetramethyl‐1‐2‐benzanthracene and 1′‐4′‐dimethyl‐3‐4‐(2′‐3′‐naphto)‐pyrene have been prepared. Attempts to synthesise 11‐12‐dimethylanthanthrene and 9‐10‐dimethyl‐1‐2‐3‐4‐5‐6‐tribenzanthracene have so far failed. Condensation products from β‐(1‐naphthoyl), β‐(2‐naphthoyl) and β‐(2‐tetrahydronaphthoyl)‐acrylic acids with dicyclohexenyl and 2‐3‐dimethylbutadiene have been prepared.
