Résumé :

2‐Amino‐4‐hydroxy‐1,3,5‐triazine (VI, VIa), an analog of cytosine, has been prepared from 2,4,6‐trichloro‐1,3,5‐triazine by a four or five step synthesis (cf. scheme).
