Résumé : As part of our PhD projects, we conducted two months of archaeological fieldwork in the south of the Republic of Congo. The research focused on two areas known for their past metallurgical activities: Mindouli in the Pool province and Boko-Songho in the Bouenza province. In addition to pedestrian surveys, 9 sites have been test excavated, providing new data on copper metallurgy in the area. Several archaeobotanical samples have also been taken in order to study the food history in the area.
