Résumé : | Pulmonary circulation lime is evaluated in patients with heart disease and high pulmonary output by three different methods: the dye dilution technique measures the pulmonary artery—peri pheral artery circulation time and the radiocardiographic method the right ventricle—left ventricle time; the transit time in the capillary segment is estimated from the measurement of the dif fusing capacity of the lung. A significant acceleration of the tran sit time is observed in the pulmonary circulation taken as a whole as well as in the capillary segment. © 1962 S. Karger AG, Basel. |
