Résumé : The behaviour of the omo-clavicular angle was studied during the pro- and retraction movements of the shoulder—the arm being in adduction—in 39 subjects of normal constitution. In 11 cases (28%), the angle remains unchanged. In 21 cases (54%), the angle derrenses during retraction. In 7 cases (18%), the angle opens during protraction; this is the result of an alar movement of the shoulder blade on the thorax. Constitutional, skeletal and muscular factors may explain this variability. © 1967 S. Karger AG, Basel.
