Résumé : The authors report upon three new observations of gastroduodenal metastases of malignant melanoma. They analyse and discuss the data obtained from standard and double-contrast radiology, from endoscopy and gastroduodenal biopsies. The lesions observed under endoscopic examination are polymorphous and provide an etiological diagnosis only where pigmented lesions are concerned. Histological diagnosis is facilitated through biopsies at the level of the pigmented areas while it remains feasible, nevertheless, by way of achromic biopsies. The gastroduodenal lesions bear witness to a terminal metastatic dissemination and the authors suggest an endoscopic and radiologic observation of the patients subsequent to exeresis of the original lesion. © 1977 Springer-Verlag.
