Résumé : As a basis for this analysis of adult mortality, uses the values of life expectations at 15, 35 and 60 years old as well as the quinquennial quotient from 45 to 69 years old. A sub-mortality for Flemish men and natives of Brussels appears to contrast with an over-mortality for Walloons; regional differences are less marked for women. The article ends with the presentation of regional variations of mortality caused by the circulatory system illnesses and by tumours. -from English summary
