Résumé : The authors emphasize that direct cholangiography has a specific role as a modern method for investigation in 2 cases of obstructive jaundice due to liver-fluke infestation. This technique if used as an emergency procedure, can, by the typical radiological images illustrated in this paper, constitute the first step in orienting the etiological diagnosis. Along with it, EPT can also be a first therapeutic measure. The authors insist on the importance of a completely carried-out medical therapeutic regimen and on the long-term follow-up of this type of patient.
