Résumé : Parkinsonian rest tremor was reduced by ritanserin, a highly selective serotonin-S2 antagonist, in five consecutive patients with Parkinson's disease. The drug was ineffective on essential tremor. The observation suggests that the serotoninergic system may be involved in the pathogenesis of parkinsonian rest tremor.
