Résumé : Possible addiction to tiapride was sought in a 10 kg Beagle dog and an ordinary 12 kg dog using the substitution method suggested by J.J. Deglarez. Tiapride at a dose of 30 mg/kg was not able to interrupt the state of hyperexcitability triggered off by sudden morphine withdrawal. One may consider that tiapride is completely lacking in addictive properties.
