Résumé : 104 infants and children aged 9 months to 15 years underwent a colonoscopic polypectomy of juvenile polyps under light sedation. No complications occurred. Polyposis occurred in two other patients. We consider colonoscopy as the first step for diagnosis in case of rectal bleeding in children and polypectomy is performed on the same occasion, when possible. There is a predominance of males and the peak frequency is encountered at the age of 5. 33% of all polyps are beyond the sigmoido-colic junction. Solitary juvenile polyps represent 67% and multiple polyps 33% of all cases.
