Résumé : A case of tertiary hepatic syphilis is reported, allowing the authors to remind the rarity of this disease, though very anciently known, its poorly specific symptomatology, the necessity of a laparoscopic bioptic diagnosis, the debated response on the classical medical treatment and the probable absence of complications, other than portal hypertension. © 1983 Springer-Verlag.
