Résumé : Vascular pathology is responsible for more than 25% of male impotence. The arterial pathology is explored by catheterization of the pudendal arteries using the Seldinger's approach. In our experience a great number of patients showed a normal arterial condition, venous pathology may explain the erectile dysfunction in those patients. We have performed cavernography with monitoring of intracevernous pressure in 115 patients. During infusion cavernography the venous leak is characterized by the absence of erection, no increase in the intracavernous pressure and the rapid opacification of the venous outlet.
