Résumé : Forty-eight hospitalized patients with uncomplicated or complicated urinary tract infections were treated with a single daily intramuscular administration of 1 gram temocillin for 5 days. On 48 initially isolated gram-negative strains, 43 (89.6%) were eradicated at the third day of treatment and a similar cure rate was found at the late follow-up. No toxic effects were seen. Temocillin seems a promising agent in the treatment of Gram-negative urinary tract infections.
