Résumé : The radioimmunoassayable plasma β2 microglobulin was evaluated in 71 kidney transplant patients during a 5 mth follow up period. In 84% of the cases there was an excellent correlation between the β2 microglobulin plasma level and the creatinine level. The assay of plasma β2 microglobulin constitutes a good tool for the evaluation of the functional status of the graft and detection of acute or chronic rejection.
