Résumé : The authors report a case of an extensive neurofibromatosis of the scalp associated with a bone defect of the occipital bone, but with no intracranial extension of the tumor. They have found no previous reference in the literature to von Recklinghausen's disease associated with a bone defect of the cranial vault. The symptoms, the risk of malignant degeneration, and the surgical management of the disease are described and discussed.
