Résumé : A dynamic central place model is further developed here, taking into account the possibility of daily travel between the point of residence and of employment. The model leads to a more realistic description of the urbanization of a region, giving rise to successive phases of central growth, urban sprawl, central core decay, and counter urbanization.-from Author
