Résumé : The topical superfusion of ASA and indomethacin results in a marked decrease of thrombus formation, while tranylcypromine enhances the thrombotic phenomenon. The intravenous injection of suloctidil results in a marked decrease of the enhancing effect of tranylcypromine. It can be concluded from these experiments that the prostaglandin biochemical pathways very likely play an important role in the patelet-vessel wall interactions leading to local thrombosis and ultimately to atherogenesis.
