Résumé : The medicalization of human reproduction helps expectant parents shaping their wish of a child. As these treatments don't protect patients from unexpected situations, sometimes, they are forced to make paradoxical choices like a medical termination of pregnancy. Through the story of a couple of patients confronted to this unthinkable trauma, this article will show how their resources and the use of the "imaginary genogram" allowed them exceeding the conflict about religious beliefs, moral values while participating to the creation of a common myth.
