Résumé : The authors report a case of Hand-Schuller-Christian disease in a man of 31 whose only stomatological manifestation was bilateral osteolytic mandibular lesions. The microscopical appearance of this lesion is characterized by the great richness in frothy cells containing a significant quantity of lipids. Their examination under the ultramicroscope at magnifications up to X60,000 showed no definitely identifiable Birbeck bodies. No eosinophils were seen. On the other hand, mastocytes were particularly numerous in this specimen.
