Résumé : Atrial fibrillation is the most common cardiac arrhythmia. Pharmacological treatment plays still an important role in the management of this disease. However, pulmonary vein isolation techniques are more and more important due to the high rate of recurrences and many side effects associated with antiarrhythmic drugs. This article is focused on the main changes that are important for the general practitioner in his daily clinical practice.
